RURALL – Integrated Rural Development in the Danube Region:
RURALL is a transnational cooperation project under the Interreg Danube Region Programme that aims to strengthen the attractiveness, resilience, and socio-economic vitality of rural areas across the Danube Region. The project addresses common challenges such as depopulation, limited access to services, and weak integration into wider development processes by promoting innovative, place-based solutions tailored to rural needs. Through transnational cooperation, pilot actions, and capacity-building activities, RURALL supports local and regional authorities, community actors, and stakeholders in developing integrated approaches that enhance quality of life, improve service provision, and unlock local potential. By fostering cooperation, knowledge exchange, and policy alignment, the project contributes to more inclusive and sustainable rural development pathways.
