HACK-IT-NET

HACK-IT-NET – Health And Care Knowledge and Innovation Transfer NETwork:
HACK-IT-NET is a transnational initiative under the INTERREG Alpine Space Programme aimed at strengthening innovation transfer in the health and care sector across the Alpine region. The project addresses persistent barriers that prevent healthcare stakeholders from accessing and applying advanced solutions — from digital tools to sustainable practices — by building a multi-stakeholder network that bridges research, policy, clinical practice and business. Through co-creation, capacity building and pilot actions, HACK-IT-NET develops methodological frameworks, tools and partnerships that advance green and digital healthcare, improve service delivery and enhance systemic resilience. Anchored in social innovation principles and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the project supports sustainable, equitable and future-oriented healthcare ecosystems in Alpine communities.

OUTPUTS:
Innovation Transfer Toolkit – A methodological framework using multi-actor approaches to support healthcare actors in adopting tailored innovations.
Network Operating Model & Outreach Events – A replicable governance model paired with HACK-IT-athon events to foster stakeholder engagement and uptake communities.
Transnational Pilot Initiatives – Testing of co-designed pathways and sandbox environments (e.g. CAREavan, PolicyParley, STEMLab) to demonstrate innovation adoption in real-life settings.
Framework Solution for Health & Care Innovation Transfer – A consolidated solution including operational steps and partnerships to ensure sustainability beyond the project lifecycle.
Policy Brief for Strategic Upscaling – Policy recommendations to scale the HACK-IT-NET framework and inform regional and EU-level strategies.
