SEAQUEST:
SEAQUEST is a transnational cooperation project funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme that seeks to strengthen the sustainability, innovation potential, and economic resilience of the blue economy in the Black Sea Basin. The initiative brings together partners from across the region to jointly address environmental degradation, fragmented collaboration, and gaps in research and technological uptake that constrain the development of sustainable maritime industries. By engaging youth, research institutions, public authorities, and industry stakeholders in transnational cooperation, SEAQUEST promotes evidence-based strategies and innovative solutions that enhance competitiveness, foster cross-sectoral collaboration, and support balanced blue growth. The project’s integrated framework combines analytical work, stakeholder mapping, pilot actions, knowledge exchange, and strategic guidance to unlock long-term opportunities for innovation-driven and sustainable development in the marine economy.
