SMALL:
SMALL is a transnational project under the Interreg North Sea Programme focused on enhancing sustainable growth and innovation capacity in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the North Sea region. The project promotes digitalisation, resource efficiency, and circular economy practices in SMEs to improve competitiveness and resilience. Through knowledge exchange, pilot initiatives, and collaborative networks, SMALL supports SMEs in adopting innovative solutions, integrating sustainable business models, and accessing new markets. The project also strengthens regional cooperation and capacity-building among public authorities, industry associations, and business support organisations.

SMALL aims to make shared mobility more accessible and inclusive through co-created and tested solutions, fostering social innovation and social entrepreneurship in sustainable mobility across the North Sea Region.

OUTPUTS:
• Development of guidelines and toolkits for SMEs to implement digitalisation and circular economy practices.
• Pilot projects demonstrating innovative business models and sustainable solutions.
• Capacity-building workshops and training sessions for SME managers and staff.
• Knowledge-sharing platforms and regional networks to facilitate collaboration among SMEs and stakeholders.
• Policy recommendations for fostering sustainable and innovative SME ecosystems.
