WIN – Women’s Inclusion Network:
WIN is a transnational cooperation project under the Interreg Danube Region Programme that aims to improve the socio-economic position of women in peripheral industrial regions across the Danube Region. The initiative addresses structural gender inequality in labour markets affected by industrial decline by promoting skills development, social innovation, and institutional capacity building. Through joint research, pilot actions, awareness-raising campaigns, and policy engagement, WIN fosters inclusive labour market participation, enhances employability and entrepreneurship opportunities for women, and contributes to more resilient and equitable regional economies. The project also facilitates cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange among public authorities, employers, civil society, and research institutions to drive systemic progress on gender equality.
WIN promotes inclusive labour markets by improving employment support systems for vulnerable groups, contributing to social innovation and social entrepreneurship in workforce integration.
